Special Features
Isinin is 13-cis retinoic acid approved acne treatment since 1982.
It is 99.9% plasma protein bound, bioavailability is 1.5 to 2 times higher when taken with Fat rich diet than in fasting stage.
At dosage of 0.5 to 1.0 mg/kg/day inhibits sebaceous gland function and keratinisation.
Isinin is contraindicated for pregnant women,breast feeding mothers and women of child bearing age.
Repeat monitoring of cholesterol, triglyceride level and LFT is advised in four weeks
