ANTI ACNE PRODUCTS
ACNE, a common inflammatory disease of the pilosebaceous glands characterised by comedons, papules, pustules, inflamed nodules, superficial pus-filled cysts, and (in extreme cases) deep, inflamed, sometimes purulent sacs.ACNE is often worst in winter and improved in summer. Diet has little effect. Acne may cycle with the menses, or it may improve or worsen during pregnancy. Cosmetics rarely aggravate acne. ACNE is almost universal, The treatment depends upon the severity of lesions. In superficial ACNE topical clindamycin is probably most useful. For severe deep lesions a broad spectrum oral antibiotic is usually effective.
Oral isotretinoin is best treatment for the patients who do not respond to antibiotics or with very severe deep acne.
